1/26/2007 - An unforgettable moment for a participant in Thailand

Last November, Patrick David, a participant on the year program in Thailand, had the chance to live a unique experience. He was selected to represent his school at a ceremony held at the Royal Monastery Ratch-o-rot where he presented flowers to the princess Maha Chakri Sirindhon during the Welcome Ceremony.

It was a great honor for Patrick because the Royal family is highly admired in Thailand. The respect of Thai people towards the monarchy is unique and the attention of the royal family towards its people is remarkable. That kind of mutual devotion and respect is rare in the world.

Therefore, Patrick had an opportunity that many Thais dream of! Patrick was selected because he is very appreciated by his family, his friends and his teachers and is known for his politeness, kindness and maturity.

The year 2006 has been very important for all Thais. It marked the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the accession to the throne of his Majesty, King Bhumibol Adulyadej

Congratulations Patrick! We are extremely proud of you!
