Despite the substantial cost involved in a stay abroad, AFS Interculture Canada believes that the educational value to be gained from a foreign experience, including intercultural learning and the development of new skills in a global world should to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their socio-economic situation.
GRANTSAFS offers tens of thousands of dollars in grants each year. All participants are eligible.

Moreover, Tourisme Jeunesse, a non-profit organisation, offers scholarships for travelers aged 18 to 35. The Tourisme Jeunesse information is in French but please write us if you need help understanding the content of the PDF document. These scholarships are available for Quebec residents only. Note, the next deadline for travels between November 16, 2008, and March 15, 2009, is on November 15, 2008.
