Work Placement
Past participants in Thailand have worked as assistants at rural hospitals, regional zoos and marine research facilities, as well as working to forestall social problems in secondary schools, to help the blind and mentally handicapped and to empower women. However, all specifics—including assignments, orientations, logistics and activities—vary depending on the program cycle.

Participation fee and fundraising

AFS Interculture Canada offers Financial Aid and all participants are eligible.

The first step is to print the Preliminary application form, fill it out and send it back to AFS Interculture Canada. Please follow the instructions on the form. If you don’t have access to a printer, please call us and we will send you the form by mail.
