Work Placement
Past participants in Malaysia have been active in projects in environment, education, community development and social welfare. For example, some participants worked with sea turtles, others taught in primary and secondary schools, some worked in wildlife conservation in national parks and some worked in orphanages. However, all specifics—including assignments, orientations, logistics and activities—vary depending on the program cycle.
Participation fee and fundraising

AFS Interculture Canada offers Financial Aid and all participants are eligible.

Starting the process now!
The first step is to print the Preliminary application form, fill it out and send it back to AFS Interculture Canada. Please follow the instructions on the form. If you don’t have access to a printer, please call us and we will send you the form by mail.
